The XIth International Social and Applied Gerontology Symposium was held in Antalya on November 20-21-22, 2024, hosted by Akdeniz University. Our Gerontology Department faculty members also attended the symposium, which was attended by academicians who are experts in the field of Gerontology from many parts of the world. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Songül KAMIŞLI, Head of the Gerontology Department, and Dr. Lecturer T. Barış DEĞER presented their studies on the elderly in Çankırı as oral presentations at the symposium.
